They are now hiring for a Senior Animation Programmer to work on a high-profile action-adventure title in development for next-generation game consoles.   The Senior Animation Programmer will closely collaborate with programmers and animators to create a character animation system, and define and maintain a clear vision of the animation technology roadmap to lead others toward a common solution.

Requirements:

- Experience with multiple types of animation including motion capture, facial, procedural, physically based, forward and inverse kinematics

- Knowledge of animation compression and optimization techniques such as quaternions, keyframe reduction, compression algorithms, LODs

- Strong understanding of the interaction between the player, AI, physics and animation

- Experience with Playstation 2, Playstation 3, Xbox or Xbox 360

Qualifications:

- Minimum 5 years of game industry experience with a proven track record of successful development

- Minimum 2 years of character animation programming experience

- Shipped multiple character based console games
